Michael Rathgeb is managing director at ingenhoven associates since 2019. He was overseeing the construction of Hauptbahnhof Stuttgart (185.000m2). The project was awarded the Global Holcim Award Gold for sustainable building (2006) and the International Architecture Award (Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture, 2007).
After studying architecture at University Innsbruck, he gathered experience in projects of all types and sizes before starting as project director at ingenhoven associates in 2007. He was promoted to manager in 2012 and since 2018 he supports the associates Christoph Ingenhoven, Martin Reuter and Marco Osmann.
Apart from specialising in complex infrastructure projects (local and long-distance public traffic). Michael Rathgeb has extensive knowledge of office and administration buildings. His portfolio consists of projects like HDI Headquarters in Hannover, the University College Dublin, the Google Headquarters in Palo Alto and Marina One in Singapur.
